Welcome to Canyon Rose Bodywork, I’m Haleigh!

Sprouting from the deep roots of a life in dance, I created Canyon Rose Bodywork first as a return to my own internal body wisdom that movement, in all its forms, heals.  Movement guides, nurtures, protects, emboldens, creates courage, builds creativity, curiosity, and offers a safe home for our mind and body to live and process in.

I provide a compassionate space to tune into the present moment, your present body, and care passionately about the self discovery and transformations possible when we listen, lean in, trust, and release into flexibility of body, mind, spirit, and perception.

My Story

As a previous competitive studio dancer and current professional dance artist, my early and ongoing relationship with dance continues to instill how powerful, transformative, and healing an intimate connection with your body can be.  Our bodies carry us through infinite chapters, for me, a childhood in Montana, early adulthood in New York City, time dancing abroad in Israel, and a return West where almost a decade in, I can’t help but feel further curiosity around the chapters to come.

My personal shift towards working professionally in bodywork reinforced and grew my deep experience and belief in the healing power of touch. My years spent in dance have been years of listening, learning, and unlocking my own body. They have also been years of attuning with sensitivity to others - whether one partner, a group, or an entire ensemble. This built knowledge over time has beautifully guided me towards Canyon Rose Bodywork.

My Approach

I am creative and intuitive in approach, actively listening to the body, the client, and my own knowledge while responding to the needs expressed in the moment. I view bodywork as a kind of dance with another human, where each day our bodies, minds, and energy arrive differently. What is needed one day may not be what is needed the next. With sensitivity, flexibility, and curiosity, I create a fluid partnership with the body, offering an encouraging space for clients to explore this approach both on and off the table. I often joke that in each session we are in conversation with three voices - You, Me, and Your Body - all equally valid and worthy of space.

Why Work with Me

Canyons, similar to our bodies, are expansive and open us to a sense of wonder, their vastness and depth housing all kinds of life.

Roses, also similar to our bodies,  are resilient, vibrant, beautiful, and experts at protecting themselves.

Canyon Rose Bodywork offers a supportive environment to embrace your own expansiveness and discover new pathways into self-guidance, nurture, and protection, both physically, mentally, and energetically. Our bodies, these beautiful vessels that carry us through the chapters of life, deserve a safe space to receive, release, and rejuvenate with attentive and kind care and touch.
